One of our ten foundational principles is to view our school as a center for teaching and learning for all ages. Our Barrington Teaching Garden and Habitat would not be possible without the help of many.

We Give Special Thanks to:
The Upper Arlington Education Foundation, whose generous grant allows us to keep growing.

Bill Morris: a Tremont parent and fellow gardener that stopped by one sunny Saturday in October and willingly tilled up our garden!

Abigail Pringle: She has once again donated to our garden. She gave us 18 pairs of gloves (12 for kids and 6 for adults) and a copy of her sister's book, How to Grow a School Garden (see resources section for a link to the book).

The Trotier Family: Audrey Trotier, one of Barrington's first Informal teachers, supports our teaching garden through generous financial contributions to the Upper Arlington Education Foundation.
The Dickinson family (Matt, Elaine, Zach and Zoe): Without Matt Dickinson's dedication, ecological savvy and financial support over the past eight years there would be no teaching garden.
Sherry Goubeaux (husband, Gene): for her generous donation of time and money, and her passion and dedication to children, nature and progressive education.
Our gardening parents and their children: Kate Kallmes, Tina Muldoon, Abigail Pringle, Tina Gray and all of our Barrington family members who have volunteered their time in our garden.
Nigel Bruce: he is our garden photographer and is there for all the big events.
Bill Dawson and the "Growing to Green" program at the Franklin Park Conservatory for guidance and support in fullfilling our dream.
The Upper Arlington City Schools Grounds Crew (especially Roger Geers and Marvin Myers) who recently tilled our new "soon to be" vegetable garden and who mow our grass and haul our yard waste.
Amy Winslow: Together with Sherry Goubeaux, this Barrington alumni parent has formed our "Garden Club" and meets every Tuesday during the lunch hour.
